Lea Marston Golf Competition Winner Announced

Huge congratulations to Darren Moffatt from Polesworth for winning a year golf membership for him and his son at Lea Marston Golf Club.

We recently ran a competition in the Tamworth Herald in association with Tamworth Football Club. The lucky winner was picked at Tamworth Football's Club last game of the season.

Red Nose Day Fundraising at Lea Marston Hotel

The 4 star Lea Marston Hotel and Spa in Sutton Coldfield hosted a variety of fundraising activities for Red Nose Day.

Red nose day on Friday 15^th March saw Lea Marston Health Club Team take part in some very tough challenges. Personnel trainers Niall Gibson and Michael Chesney completed 1000 burpees in less than 2 hours. And Matt Outs, also a Lea Marston Personnel Trainer, managed to skip for 90 minutes and then persevered to achieve a further 500 burpees.

Other fundraising activities included the whole Spa and Reception team wearing their pyjamas for the whole day and Lea Marston Pastry Chef made some delicious red nose cakes for the team to sell.

Overall the Lea Marston team raised £535.00 for this valuable cause and would like to say a big thank you to everyone who donated and competed in challenges.

Pensioners' Treat at Lea Marston Hotel

 

The 4 star Lea Marston Hotel and Spa in Sutton Coldfield provided a free festive lunch for the local pensioners of Marston and Lea Marston Villages on Monday 10^th December.

This is the 24^th consecutive year that Lea Marston Hotel has hosted this splendid occasion and welcomed a total of over 40 local residents to this year’s lunch.

Everyone who attended received pre-dinner drinks in the bar, followed by an excellent 3-course Christmas meal with wine and crackers, all finished off with coffee and mince pies and a present for everyone to open on Christmas day.

The residents, who attended, expressed their sincere thanks to all the management and staff of Lea Marston Hotel for this most enjoyable treat which was very much appreciated.
