Lea Marston Hotel Dream Team through to the MARCHE Awards Finals

Lea Marston Hotel is delighted that a total of nine staff team members have become finalists for the 2012 MARCHE Awards of Excellence.

The MARCHE Awards (Midlands Association of Restaurants, Caterers, Hotels and Entertainment) were established in 1997 to encourage training, motivation and team building for organisations operating within the hospitality and leisure industries.

Every year competitions are held in various categories with hotels accross the Midlands competing. Lea Marston staff members who have become finalists in MARCHE categories include:

• Gemma Hill - Sales Coordinator of the Year
• Neil Smith, Victor Chan and James Hodson - Cook and Serve Category
• Michael Francis - Young Chef of the Year
• Alex Davies - Chef of the Year
• Carlo Albertini - Drinks Assistant Category
• Katrona Paxton - Housekeeping Assistant of the Year
• Katja Townsend - Manager of Tomorrow

All the above finalists now have to compete in a final competition relevant to their category and then the winners of each category will be announced on the awards night. This glittering evening is held each Spring at The International Convention Centre on Sunday 25th March.

• Full Time Experienced Hotel Receptionist - 40 hours per week

The candidate must be an experienced hotel receptionist and worked within the hotel industry, smart in appearance, customer focused, have good communication skills and highly organised. Duties are to greet and deal with guests in an efficient manner on arrival and departure from the hotel. This role includes early, late shifts and weekends. Knowledge of entirety system is an advantage, but training will be given. CV's are required for this position.
