Britain's Best Putter

IS BRITAIN’S BEST PUTTER AT LEA MARSTON GOLF CLUB....?

Congratulations to Lea Marston Hotel Golf Shop assistant Nathan Williams who has got through to the final of the regionals of Britain's Best Putter of the year competition.

Britain Best Putter Competition is an annual national competition sponsored by Callaway where players from all around the country compete to be named “Britain’s Best Putter”. As a reward the winner will then win a week’s golf at the superb Las Colinas Resort in Spain for two people.

Nathan Williams originally entered the qualifiers for Britain’s Best Putter competition held at his home club, Lea Marston Golf Club in Sutton Coldfield. The players with the least putts then went through to the regionals, which was held at the Belfry on 5^th August. Nathan was ranked 4^th best putter on this day and won a new Callaway Putter worth £200.

Nathan now has to compete in the Nationals being held on 13^th October at the Grove Hotel which is also the date of Nathan’s 18^th Birthday.
