Monday evening saw Lea Marston Hotel's annual
gala dinner to celebrate employee long service and staff success, hosted by the
hotels directors. This year's dinner was attended by approx. 60 people
comprising of hotel staff, partners and family.
On the evening guests arrived to a warm welcome and a drinks
reception followed by a delicious three course meal designed by our head chef
and his team. Celebrating long service is the core of the evening and staff
members reaching a significant anniversary of 5,10,15,20 and 25 years’ service
received vouchers, certificate and pin badge. We had 3 members celebrating 15
years, 5 members with 10 years and 4 members with 5 years’ service. Four members of our family were given an
extra special recognition for being long standing members of the team, so
special congratulations to:
Liz Gibbon, Sales Manager - 25 years
Becky Harding, Duty Manager - 20 years
Maxine Day, Housekeeper - 20 years
Lucy Hetherington, Revenue Administrator - 20 years
On the evening we also announce our employee of
the year award as voted for by the whole team. Nominees from employee of the
month through our Charm program were all entered into this award category.
We were excited to announce that Oliver Asson, Junior Sous Chef was the overall
winner of employee of the year for 2017, so big congratulations to him and all
the finalists that have done an excellent job throughout the year.
